Flight Departures at Paros Airport

If you're island hopping and decide to fly rather than take the ferry back to the mainland, airlines Aegean and Olympic, Sky Express and Astra Airlines offer flights from Paros Airport (PAS, LGPA). Blue Star Ferries link Paros with other parts of Greece, Piraeus near Athens for example.

Parking for up to 70 cars opposite the terminal is available at Paros Airport, which will see many upgrades and changes in the future. In November 2020 the Greek Government made funds available to create a better terminal, runway and access to the airport. In future there may be more airlines serving this destination.

Paros Airport departures can take buses from Parikia, the main city on Paros, to PAS, taking ca 30 minutes for the trip. In summer Paros departures can also take buses from Naoussa. Ktel Bus Operator has been around for some 50 years on some of the islands, offering cheap links between villages and towns.

Taxis also leave from the center of Parikia. The trip from the city center to Paros Airport is 20 to 30 minutes, costing 20.00 Euros for up to 3 people with their luggage. Taxis to Paros Airport can be booked in advance here.

There are several car rental companies at Paros Airport offering a wide range of vehicles from their fleets at the airport and in the city. The season runs from May to mid-October, travelling to Paros Airport outside these months may make car rental more difficult for Paros Airport departure passengers.

The upgraded airport is scheduled for completion in 2023, which will offer passengers an improved parking area and a 12,000 sqm terminal with coffee shop, bar and Duty Free Shopping. There will also be offices, a new fire station and airport security booths, and a new luggage transportation system for better passenger luggage management.
